FS170 Saw
For fast single-blade friction cuts up to 6.625 inch (168 mm) diameter, the FS170 friction saw performs. This flying saw tracks tube and pipe speed during production and, using a 100 HP accelerator motor and high-performance low-backlash rack and pinion, cuts precisely at line speeds up to 320 feet per minute (100 mpm) with a single 35 inch (900 mm) diameter blade. The cost-effective FS170 with its variable speed blade drive, is the perfect saw for heavy wall applications where production speed is critical. The FS170 is easy to setup and maintain and utilizes simple low-cost tooling for quick blade change.
